Esker Lodge Nursing Home

Sandar completed the construction, of a new 1125m² high spec 23 bedroom extension across 3 floors, to an existing nursing home. This included construction of general day rooms, staff facilities, new reception entrance/area, laundry rooms along with a new plant room. Substantial renewable technologies were incorporated into the construction phase which incorporated the use of a ground source heating and cooling system, ice sticks as an alternative heat source and 75m² of solar panels.

The project also comprised of revisions and alterations generally throughout the existing live nursing home. A new dining area was constructed within the existing internal courtyard with the General associated site development works.
